Creating a Federal Student Aid ID Account

Whether you’re a student, 家长, 或借款人, you’ll need to create your own account to complete federal student aid tasks.

What You Can Use Your Account For

  • 填写 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®)的形式
  • 你的签名 Master Promissory Note (或然数)
  • 应用 for repayment plans
  • Completing loan counseling

  • Your own mobile phone number and/or email address

填写 FAFSA

Once a student submits the FAFSA application online. SKC will receive the application within 3-5 business days. A student will receive an email notification when the application is ready to start the process of review. Each student will need to complete the required forms and submit the required supporting documentation before a review is completed. Once all required documentation is submitted and assessed an award letter is generated. The award letter will detail a  student's cost of attendance and financial aid eligibility in the form of federal student aid (Pell Grant, 勤工助学, 和直接贷款). Please note SKC only generates the Pell Grant at the beginning of the quarter and there is an additional process for the work study and direct loan programs.  For more information please contact the following:

The cost of attendance is used to determine a students eligibility for need based aid and demonstrates the maximum amount of aid that can be received in one academic year. The COA includes the tuition and fees, 食宿, 书籍及用品, transportation expense, 个人费用, child care/dependent expense for students with children 年龄 10 and under, and any additional direct cost owed to the school for additional fees not already included in the general fees.
